The Headteacher of Asamankese Salvation Army Junior High School in the West Akyem Municipality in the Eastern Region, Mr Edward Adu has been accused by a Junior High School final year student of defiling her seven times at his office.
The young girl who is believed to be sixteen years said the headteacher in 2020 attempted to sexually assault her when new cases of corona virus were recorded in the country.
She accused the headteacher of trying to have a sexual encounter with her about seven times last year, 2020.
”He called me to his office and asked me to pick some files for him. Eventually, he ended up kissing me of which I refuted that act”, she said.
She added that, after that particular incident, the headmaster had seven sexual intercourses with her.
However, when Mr Edward Adu was asked his take on this allegation, he refused to utter a word, saying that he is recovering from injuries from an accident.
Also the guardian of the defiled girl, who is also a teacher in that particular school refused to comment on the the issue when asked. However, investigation is been made on this issue.
