The new Chief was enstooled under the stool name Nana Agyekumhene I.
After going through the customary and traditional processes, the chief was outdoored and presented to the larger family and the entire Sukwa township in a colourful procession through the principal streets, ending with a durbar at the school park.
Speaking to Angel News, Nana Agyekumhene said his aim is to collaborate with the Assembly through the Assembly members in the electoral areas to create funds to support students who can’t afford to further their education after completing school.
He further said that their deplorable road is his priority, and he wants to make sure it’s being constructed along with other developmental projects.
He gave a special thanks to some of the elders/nananom who played a major role in making the dream of Sukwa come true.
Meanwhile, some of the residents also couldn’t hide their joy at getting a new chief and took the opportunity to outline their expectations from the new chief.
