The Fulani herdsmen Association of Ghana, Eastern Regional Chapter have said to drop prices on livestock as they are relocating the cattle market to Kutoso near Kwahu Tafo in the Eastern Region
Speaking to the media, the Fulani Chief of Donkorkrom in the Kwahu Afram Plains, Chief Janllo Iddrisa Sambo said, through Kwhumanhene, Dasebre Akuamoah Boateng III and the Fulani Chief at Kwahu, Alhaji Dudu, a large portion of virgin land had been acquired at Kutoso where the cattle market has been established
“As we are inviting buyers, customers and the media as a whole to the scene, value corresponds to average price obtained across homogeneous categories of cattle. Deciding which animal to buy is dependent on head size, species composition, age and sex structure and how much cash is needed” He said
The group indicated that the reason they agreed to relocate is that they have integrated all production processes under one roof at Kutoso in the Kwahu guaranteeing total quality management.
They encourage buyers to come in their numbers on July 13, 2020, for a low prices of livestock as they commission their newly created cattle market.
