The leadership under His Royal Majesty, Nana Odɛefo Effah Opinamang III, Obomeng Hene has enstooled three (3) new sub-chiefs to assist the leadership of Nkawkaw Hene, Nana Osono Adade I.
On the eve of Saturday midnight, July 9, all the necessary customs and traditions were performed at the Nkawkaw Palace to initiate the deserved royals to be part of the Nkawkaw Traditional Authority.
Speaking to Republic FM’s Andy Frimpong Manso, the Nifa Hene of Nkawkaw Aban Ase Mampong, and Nana Asante Krobea I said, Nana Obomeng in his wisdom realized that there was the need for the newly installed Nkawkaw Hene to get sub-chiefs to assist him in his administration as the traditional authority of Nkawkaw.

Three (3) sub-chiefs including Baamuhene, Gyasehene and Werempong Hene were added to the 3 sub-chiefs who had already occupied their positions some months ago.

He said these sub-chiefs are critically monitored and chosen by the head of a family before all the necessary procedures are taken care of.
He advised the new sub-chiefs to be circumspect in their respective positions to serve the people wholeheartedly.
He urged that they must be humble, and respect everyone irrespective of their background.
The newly installed Gyasehene, Nana Asiedu Boadu I is a Navy officer with the Ghana Armed forces.
He is an alumnus of Regional Maritime University and Koforidua SECTEC.
He further secured a top-up at Regent University. He is also an Electrical engineer.

His duty as the Gyasehene for Nkawkaw is to run the daily routine affairs of the Nkawkaw Palace. He is more of a secretary to the Chief of Nkawkaw.
He expressed joy and delight in the position bestowed on him as the Gyasehene of Nkawkaw.
He urged that all efforts necessary would be collaborated effectively with all stakeholders to steer and safeguard the affairs of the Nkawkaw man.
