The Oda Government Hospital in the Birim Central Municipality of the Eastern Region is currently hit by a shortage of oxygen for medical treatment, myrepubliconline.com has learnt.
Information obtained established that there is no cylinder to contain oxygen for operation at the hospital as all operations are halted by the medical officers at the facility.
This is because there is no oxygen available in the hospital.
Patients scheduled for operation and their family members are left stranded in the hospital.
Assembly member for Akyem Oda, Hon. Papa Yaw Amoah whose family member is a victim expressed worry over the development.
