Okyeame Kwadwo Antwi Boasiako, the Okyehenekyeame, has donated assorted items to 50 aged women at Kyebi, in the Eastern Region.
Items donated include bags of rice, bread, cartons of milk, sugar, cooking oil, tin tomatoes, wax prints and soft drinks, all valued at GH¢40,000.
Speaking with the media, Okyehenekyeame, said that the donation was to put smiles on the faces of the elderly women in the community.
“It was a pleasure to make this happen!” It feels nice to be of assistance, and the smiles were priceless! I’m looking forward to more of these!” he said.
He added that the donation is also part of his 40th birthday celebration, which will took place on Tuesday, August 8, 2023.
Okyeame Kwadwo Antwi Boasiako also feted the aged women with food and music at his residence in Domeabra as part of the celebration.
The receivers of the donation thanked the Okyehenekyeame for the kindness.
