Elrad Amoako, the 16-year-old son of Archbishop Salifu Amoako, founder of Alive Chapel International, has been remanded again following his recent appearance at the Accra Juvenile Court.

The decision follows a tragic accident on October 12, 2024, in East Legon, Accra.

According to reports from GHOne TV, Elrad’s next hearing is scheduled for November 13, 2024. During initial proceedings on November 1, the court imposed specific conditions, including the surrender of his Ghanaian and U.S. passports by November 4.

Elrad was also instructed to undergo a medical examination at the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC) on the same date.

The court further stipulated that he should be transferred to the Police Hospital if any health issues arise during his time in custody.

Background of the Incident

The incident occurred when Elrad, driving a Jaguar SUV with registration number GN 7801-20, lost control of the vehicle and collided with a 4×4 Acura SUV, registered GR 2542-23. The impact led to both vehicles catching fire, tragically claiming the lives of two young women, Justine Agbenu and Maame Dwomoh, who were passengers in the Acura.

The case has drawn widespread public attention, with many awaiting further developments as the court continues its review.
