The Electoral Commission has re-opened the voters register for individuals who could not transfer their votes and apply for proxy voting in the first window.
According to the EC individuals who could not take part in the initial exercise have the chance to do so from today Wednesday July 3 to Friday July 5, 2024.
The EC in a statement released on July 2 and signed by deputy director research, monitoring and evaluation, Fred Tetteh indicated that, it will extend the application for the transfer of votes for twenty-five (25) public universities and prison facilities across the country.
“Furthermore, the application for special voting will be re-opened for the media and security agencies from Saturday July 6 to Sunday July 7, 2024”, the commission noted.
