This final set of rewards brings the total value of benefits distributed over the three-month campaign to GHS 1.5 million, impacting 10,000 customers across the country.

The promotion recorded strong participation throughout its duration. During the second draw held on January 14, 2026, a total of 3,060 customers won various cash amounts and in-kind prizes an early indication of Ecobank’s commitment to rewarding customer loyalty throughout the campaign.

Running from November 2025 to January 2026, the 5 Star Enjoyment Promotion reaffirmed Ecobank’s commitment to deepening financial inclusion, strengthening savings culture among Ghanaians, and expanding the use of secure, convenient digital banking platforms for everyday financial transactions.

To qualify, customers were required to:

Deposit a minimum of GHS400 (or multiples thereof) and maintain the balance for at least 30 days.

Access personal loans of GHS4,000 or more, or conduct transactions via Ecobank’s digital platforms, including Ecobank Mobile, EcobankPay (USSD), POS terminals, and Ecobank Online.

Commenting on the close of the campaign, Regina Ofori, Head of Marketing and Brand at Ecobank Ghana, speaking on behalf of Mr Tara Squire, Executive Director and Regional Head, Consumer Banking, Ecobank, stated,

“The 5 Star Enjoyment Promotion was introduced not only to reward our customers but also to encourage long-term savings habits and deeper engagement with our digital solutions. The strong participation across the country reaffirms Ecobank Ghana’s commitment to empowering customers and supporting their financial wellbeing.”

He further noted that hosting the final draw at Kejetia Market, one of Ghana’s largest commercial hubs, underscored the bank’s deliberate efforts to engage traders, SMEs, and everyday consumers through its extensive branch footprint and nationwide network of Ecobank Xpress Point agents.

The promotion was conducted under the supervision of the National Lottery Authority (NLA) to ensure fairness, transparency, and full regulatory compliance.

The final draw brought together customers, market leaders, media representatives, and executives of Ecobank Ghana and the NLA, marking the successful close of a campaign that delivered meaningful value to customers while advancing national financial inclusion objectives.
