Veteran actor Samuel Karikari Seth K-Okyere popularly known as Koo-Fori of Popular Tv series Efiewura has been arrested by the Accra central police command for allegedly defrauding a USA based Ghanaian $50,000.
Sources indicates that the actor took to his heels after successfully receiving the said amount, which was meant for a supposed legitimate investment.
The victim, who lives in California reportedly sent $50,000 to Koo fori, believing it was for a legitimate investment opportunity. However, it’s alleged that Koo Fori had no intention of honoring the investment and instead disappeared with the funds.
It also alleged that Koo-fori had defaulted payment and refusal to appear before the Dansoman District Court on the 17th of April, 2025, which subsequently necessitated for his arrest through a bench warrant.
