The flagbearer of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawunia, has extended a warm message of peace, selfless giving, and unity to Muslims across the country and the global Islamic community on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.

In a public statement, the former Vice President highlighted the core essence of the festival, noting that the sacred occasion serves as a profound reminder of the virtues of sacrifice, obedience, and unwavering faith.

Dr. Bawunia urged citizens to look beyond the festivities and allow the true spirit of Eid al-Adha to influence their daily actions.

He expressed hope that the celebration would inspire Ghanaians to give selflessly to those in need, uphold deep compassion in their daily lives, and actively work toward strengthening the bonds that unite the nation as one people.

“On this sacred occasion, we are reminded of the power of sacrifice, obedience, and unwavering faith.

May the spirit of Eid al-Adha inspire us to give selflessly, uphold compassion, and strengthen the bonds that unite us as one people.”
