The governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) will today, Saturday, April 13, 2024, elect its Parliamentary candidate to contest in the Ejisu by-election scheduled for April 30.
Individuals seeking to contest are Dr. Evans Duah, Kwesi Nyantakyi, Kwabena Boateng, Portia Acheampong Abronye, Abena Pokua Amoah, Helena Mensah, Clinsman Karikari Mensah, Maame Yaa Aboagye, and Aaron Prince Duah.
The primary follows the death of MP for the constituency John Kumah which occurred on March 7, 2024 after a short illness.
