The borehole, constructed with support from the non-governmental organisation Direct Aid and funded by Direct Aid–Kumasi, is expected to provide a reliable source of potable water for pupils and staff, while also enhancing hygiene and sanitation within the school.

Speaking at the event, Adams Seidu expressed appreciation to Direct Aid for its continued support to education and community development in the municipality. He urged school authorities and the community to ensure proper maintenance of the facility to guarantee its long-term use.

The Headmaster of T.I. Ahmadiyya Junior High School, Mallam Nasir, together with the Assembly Member for the Saboline Electoral Area, Hon. PDD, welcomed the project and thanked Direct Aid, Ashanti Base, for the intervention, describing it as timely and impactful.

Mallam Nasir also appealed to the community and residents of the electoral area to take responsibility for protecting the borehole to ensure its sustainability.

Representatives of Direct Aid, in their remarks, assured the school of the organisation’s readiness to provide further assistance whenever the need arises, reaffirming their commitment to supporting education and social development in the area.
