Black Stars forward, Ernest Nuamah is reportedly closing in on a move to French League 1 side, Olympic Lyon.

According to reports in France yesterday, Olympique Lyonnais reached an agreement with Danish side Nordsjaelland to sign the talented forward.

Meanwhile, sources say the 19-year-old has completed his medical on Tuesday morning and expecting an official announcement soon.

Lyon is expected to make an initial €25m fixed fee plus €5m in add-ons, making him the club’s new record signing, with deal anticipated to end in 2028.

He will become the latest Ghanaian player to play for the French League 1 club apart from Abedi Pele, Michael Essien and John Mensah.

Nuamah signed for Nordsjaelland from Right to Dream Academy and Ghana following a successful trial with the club in 2021.
