As part of efforts to reach out to society and the needy, Madam Ewurabena Aubynn has donated towards XYZ Broadcasting Company’s Easter Kyere Wodo programme.
The event which is geared towards some needy children in the society is donating food and other items to a number of orphanages in the country to ensure that in this month of giving and sacrifice, the needy children in various orphanage homes are not left out.
Making her donations at the premises of the radio station at Osu in Accra last Tuesday, April 12, 2022, Ewura entreated Ghanaians not to achieve so much before extending a helping hand, adding that one can give even the little that is within his or her reach.
“I am humbled to even be in the position to donate because losing my parents that rendered me an orphan is a painful experience, therefore each time there is an event aimed at alleviating the plight of the needy and orphans in society, I feel it’s an opportunity to share the little I have” she stated.
Some of the items donated include; rice, soft drinks, water, toiletries, milo, cooking oil, washing soap, running into thousands of Ghana Cedis.
Receiving the items on behalf of the XYZ Broadcasting Company, the Head of Easter Kyere Wodo Team, Mr. Agyeman Prempeh thanked her and the team for their kind gesture by ensuring the needy and orphans have a joyous Easter celebration.
He promised the station’s unflinching support and assured her that every item donated will get to the right people and serve its intended purpose.
Mr. Prempeh therefore challenged other Ghanaians to show their love by donating money and items to ensure that they put smiles on the faces of these needy in society.
