Despite the juju scare by former constituency organizer, Mr. Frank Atease, to prevent Ewurabena Aubynn and her supporters from handing over the newly renovated constituency office at Kwashiebu to constituency executives on May 10, 2023, the event ended successfully.
The event, which was scheduled to take place at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday morning, started late following what can be described as a ritual performance to scare her followers ahead of May 13, 2023.
The main motive for the action by the former constituency organizer was payback time to Ewurabena for what he alleged was his masterminding of his loss at the just-ended constituency election.
After the long and forth of the whole issue, Ewurabena Aubynn handed over the keys of the renovated GH₵50,000.00 party office to constituency executives who commended her selfless dedication towards party activities in the constituency.
Ewurabena reminded party faithfuls at the gathering to work together in unity to ensure that the party rescues power from the hands of the clueless New Patriotic Party.
She said the decision to renovate the constituency office was brought to her notice by the executives and in consultation with her husband and children, agreed to embark on the renovation exercise for the party.
“All constituency executives will bear me witness that there was no issue between us and the owner of the facility, so it was surprising to see what happened today, but I think we need to focus on the bigger picture which is to work hard to secure the seat for NDC come 2024.”

“It has cost us almost GH₵50.000, in fact initially I didn’t see the workload until we brought in artisans who discovered leakages and others, but I am the type who doesn’t like shoddy work, so we forged ahead and within six months we are here today,” she stated.
On the issue of the destruction of the renovated party office, she downplays it and rather calls it a family fight and assured the teaming supporters that the misunderstanding would be resolved.
“As for within the NDC we have no quarrel except some infractions but those we have issues with are the NPP people, and they are the ones we are preparing to face head-on during the 2024 elections,” Ewurabena added.
On the May 13 primaries, she assured the delegates and the NDC family that with the various security measures put in place by the region, voting is going to be peaceful and encouraged all delegates in the Ablekuma North Constituency to come out in their numbers and ensure that Ewurabena Aubynn comes out victorious,
She revealed that come Saturday, May 13, the NDC is going to elect a candidate who is going to break the 26 years rule of NPP in the constituency and that person is Ewurabena number one on the ballot box.
“With the level of engagement of over 2500 delegates in the constituency and the kind of message and assurance from them, I am optimistic that come Saturday, team Ewurabena will be victorious”
The newly renovated party office is staffed with an air condition, telephone, table and chairs, and contains picture portraits of past Presidents of the party, constituency chairman and others who have contributed towards the work of the party in the constituency.
