A GAF officer, WO1 Williams Mensah sent his son to buy a dewormer.
His son was then presented with three options to choose from.
The boy chose one (the medicine) that cost GH₵65.
WO1 rejected the medicine and sent the son back for a refund. He is said to have called the pharmacy through his son’s phone.
It was explained to WO1 that there cannot be a refund because medicines bought are not returnable.
His son went home and returned with WO1 Williams Mensah.
WO1 demanded the refund, captured on CCTV.
Daughter of a Two-Star Army General was there to also buy medicine.
WO1, out of anger, assaulted both the attendant and the General’s daughter.
The lady attempted to film WO1 and was slapped and beaten again, even outside the pharmacy.
The pharmacy attendant is said to have refunded the GH₵65 when he returned a second time.
The WO1 has since been arrested by Military Police.
Did the pharmacy play a part in getting the soldier angry?
Could they not have changed the medicine for him to avert the incident? Or W01 has anger issues?
The video attached details when WO1 was arrested at dawn from his home.
