The fake military officer who was apprehended at the 37 Military Hospital has indicated that he found the army uniform in a bail of second hand clothes he sells.
He further stated that he wore the uniform to impress the nurse he was visiting after several unsuccessful attempts to woo the lady who told him she only wanted to marry a soldier.
However, during his visit to the hospital, a soldier noticed that he was wearing slippers instead of boots which frowns on the rules of the Military. This led to his cover been blown and subsequent arrest.
The fake soldier has been granted a GH¢30,000 bail with two sureties.
