The Ghana Police Service has apprehended three individuals in connection with a widely circulated video depicting a two-year-old child being administered an alcoholic beverage in Kade, Eastern Region.
The suspects, identified as Tawiah Precious, alias T’ Moni, 18 years old, Emmanuel Dadzie, also known as Shapiro, 24 years old, and Stephen Amoako, 22 years old, who is the father of the child, were arrested on Saturday, December 20, 2025.
According to the Police, officers from the Cyber Vetting and Enforcement Team executed the arrests at Okumani, a suburb of Kade, following intelligence-led operations.
The two-year-old child has been rescued and is currently in the custody of the Domestic Violence and Victim Support Unit in Asamankese, with arrangements being made to reunite the child with the mother.
The Criminal Investigation Department has confirmed that the three suspects are in custody and will face charges in court.
Meanwhile, the Police are actively searching for two additional suspects, Afram Bright, alias Mogabe, and another individual known only as Panyin, who remain at large.
