Fidelity Bank supports Fire Academy and Training School

Fidelity Bank Ghana on Thursday, April 28, 2022 presented three (3) Rambo 1000 Polytanks with total capacity of Thirty Thousand litres (30,000 Lts) and a Cheque of Ten Thousand Ghana Cedis (GH₵10,000.00) to the Fire Academy and Training School (FATS) following a request for support from the Service.

Fidelity Bank Ghana on Thursday, April 28, 2022 presented three (3) Rambo 1000 Polytanks with total capacity of Thirty Thousand litres (30,000 Lts) and a Cheque of Ten Thousand Ghana Cedis (GH₵10,000.00) to the Fire Academy and Training School (FATS) following a request for support from the Service.

The Relationship Manager of Fidelity Bank, Ms. Sandra Osei Bonsu, in making the presentation to the Service at the Training School premises at Jamestown in Accra said, the donation was part of their initiative to support the School to solve its perennial water shortage issues. “This kind gesture from the bank is mainly because of the good relationship and partnership the Bank and the Service have and the Bank hopes this gesture will improve the relationship between us and also promote a long term partnership that will be beneficial to both parties”, she said.

Deputy Chief Fire Officer (DCFO) Tony Gomez who doubles as the Director Welfare and Second -In- Command of the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) represented the Chief Fire Officer, received the items on behalf of the School and expressed the Service’s appreciation to the Bank for being the first organization to respond to the request of the School.

He subsequently handed over the Polytanks to the Commandant of FATS, Assistant Chief Fire Officer I (ACFO I) Gilbert Klutse.

Also present at the brief Presentation Ceremony were DCFO Gifty Sarpong, the Director of Human Resource and Training; Assistant Chief Fire Officer I (ACFO I) Alex Asante of the Accounts Department; Divisional Officer Grade I (DO I) Emmanuel Adoboa the Director of Studies of FATS and other supporting staff from the GNFS and Fidelity Bank.
