Ghana’s senior men’s national team, the Black Stars, are set to open camp in Accra on Thursday, May 30, 2024, to begin preparation for the upcoming World Cup qualifying games against Mali and Central Africa Republic.
The team will hold a six-day training at the University of Ghana Stadium before they depart to Bamako on Tuesday, June 4, for the Mali game.
Ghana has already played two games, winning against Madagascar in Kumasi and losing to Comoros.
Wins in both games would be ideal for coach Otto Addo, as it will increase their chances of earning a spot in the World Cup.
After the Mali game on Thursday, June 6, the Black Stars will travel back to Accra to face Central African Republic on Monday, June 10.
Coach Otto Addo is expected to name his squad for the games by Tuesday.
