Many stores have been destroyed by a fire at the Kantamanto Market in the Greater Accra Region.
According to a report, over twenty shops have been burnt into ashes by the inferno.
The report also noted that the fire outbreak happened in the early hours of Tuesday, November 29, 2022.
Apart from destroying shops, other goods worth thousands of cedis have all been ravaged by the fire.
“The personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service were unable to stop the blaze after they run out of water”, eyewitness Charles told the press.
He said the officers from the Ghana National Fire Service called for more of the vehicles to be able to control the fire.
No serious casualty was recorded.
