A fire outbreak has been reported at the Kwapong Nursing Training College in the Asunafo South District in the Ahafo Region, causing panic among students and staff.
Eyewitnesses told reporters, the devastating blaze started in one of the school’s dormitory blocks early Friday morning , which quickly sent thick smoke across the campus.
A video footage intercepted by Republic Online shows the flames of the blaz, sweeping across the campus while students lingers on, with others trying to get their belongings to a safer position.
Firefighters from the Ghana National Fire Service are currently on incident scene working to bring the flames under control. The cause of the incident remains unknown.
