Firefighters from the Circle Fire Station responded promptly to a fire outbreak at Adehyeman Savings & Loans Limited in Accra on Tuesday, February 11, preventing what could have been a major disaster.
According to reports, the fire team arrived at the scene within five minutes of receiving the distress call. Their swift intervention successfully contained the blaze, stopping it from spreading to the main banking hall.
Several computers, furniture, and office supplies were salvaged due to the swiftness of the firefighters.
However, the fire caused damage to an air conditioner, electrical cables, and parts of the ceiling. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the fire. Meanwhile, the incident has once again highlighted the dedication and efficiency of Accra’s firefighting teams in safeguarding lives and property.
