Former Greater Accra Regional Minister, Titus Glover, has emphasized the need for private sector involvement in addressing the sanitation challenges facing the region.

Former Greater Accra Regional Minister, Titus Glover, has emphasized the need for private sector involvement in addressing the sanitation challenges facing the region.

Speaking on the issue, Mr. Glover stated that waste management should not be the sole responsibility of Zoomlion Ghana Limited but rather a collaborative effort involving multiple stakeholders.

He highlighted the urgency of the situation and called for a strategic partnership between private entities and government agencies to enhance sanitation efforts in the capital.

He underscored that the fight against filth requires a well-coordinated approach to ensure sustainable waste management solutions.

Mr. Glover urged policymakers, businesses, and the public to play an active role in improving sanitation and maintaining a clean environment in Greater Accra.

His call comes at a time when Accra continues to struggle with waste management challenges, leading to concerns about public health and environmental sustainability.
