Former player of Legon Cities, Hans Kwofie, has reportedly passed away.
The 37-year-old tragically lost his life Friday afternoon after he was involved in a car crash at Dadwen in the Ashanti Region.
According to reports, Kwofie had moved his car to go and buy food and upon his return, collided with another vehicle, which led to his death.
The striker also played for Ashanti Gold, Medeama and Aduana Stars in the Ghana Premier League.
In the 2017 season, Kwofie completed the season as the top scorer.
He also played for some clubs abroad including Qatari club Al-Oruba, Egypt’s Smouha SC, Tanzania’s Singida United, and Malaysian side Puchong Fuerza and Birgunj United in Nepal.
He has however been without a club after he left Birgunj United in February this year.
