Esther Sarfowaa, the lady who assaulted her boyfriend at Nkawie in the Ashanti Region has told Crime Check that she only added on to the beatings Ebenezer’s friends had already subjected him to.
She claimed that the viral video only showed her portion of the assault and left out the part that captured his friends’ attack on him.
The young lady stated that she was outraged by Ebenezer’s claim that they were in a relationship.
She explained that she only went to Nkawie to collect her phone from Ebenezer which she gave to him to repair since he was a repairer.
However, the victim couldn’t produce the phone which escalated matters.
Esther eventually admitted wrongdoing, attributing it to anger and pleaded with Ebenezer to forgive him.
But Ebenezer said he would only forgive her if she went back to Nkawie to his mother to settle the issue since she is handling the matter.
Nana Yaa is now in police custody.
