A heated confrontation reportedly erupted between a fuel tanker driver and a junior police officer at a police barrier after the officer requested to inspect the driver’s license.
According to reports, the driver refused to hand over his driving licence, insisting that the officer was not a member of the Motor Traffic and Transport Department (MTTD) and therefore had no authority to examine his licence or determine whether it was genuine.
During the exchange, the visibly upset driver allegedly challenged the officer, asking, “Do you want us to fight?” as tensions escalated at the checkpoint.
The police officer reportedly maintained that the license presented was not the correct one and instructed the driver to follow him to the police station for further verification.
However, the driver allegedly refused to comply with the directive, leading to a prolonged argument at the scene.
