The Ministry of Gender, Children & Social Protection (MOGCSP) has organized a Breast Cancer Talk and Screening Exercise for its Staff on Monday, 25th October, 2021.
The Month of October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, an annual campaign to increase awareness that will help expedite early screening and treatment.
The event aimed at raising awareness on breast cancer, early signs of breast cancer in women as well as creating awareness of breast cancer in men.
Addressing the Staff, the Chief Director of MoGCSP, Dr. Afisah Zakariah urged staff to maximize on the opportunity and have their breast checked.
“Staff cannot be productive when ill. I entreat you all to take this opportunity and get your breast examined and have an assurance of a healthy lifestyle”, the Chief Director stressed.
