The Ghana Immigration Service has received a 62-seater bus donated by the German Federal Police through the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany. This gesture symbolizes the strong cooperation and solidarity between Ghana and Germany.
The Minister for the Interior, Hon. Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak commended the German Government for their continuous support to Ghana and the Ghana Immigration Service.
He highlighted the importance of international cooperation in migration management and border security.
The donation is seen as a significant boost to the Service’s capacity to manage migration effectively and ensure national security.
Present at the ceremony was the German Ambassador to Ghana, H.E. Daniel Krull, the Ag. Chief Director of the Ministry of the Interior, Mrs. Doreen Annan, the Ag. Comptroller-General of the Ghana Immigration Service, Mr. Samuel Basintale Amadu and officials from the German Embassy and the Ghana Immigration Service.
The Government of Ghana looks forward to continued collaboration with the German Government and other partners to promote national development and security.
