The Ghana Education Service (GES) has interdicted the headmistress of the West African Senior High School (WASS), Dr. Mrs. Shine Agatha Ofori, in the Greater Accra Region.
According to the GES, the headmistress has illegally collected money from the students of the school.
A statement signed by the head of the public relations unit of GES, Cassandra Twum Ampofo, indicated that she hands over the school’s administration to the Greater Accra Regional Director of Education while the investigation continues.
“Management of GES has interdicted Dr. Mrs. Shine Agatha Ofori, Headmistress of West Africa SHS, for unauthorized collection of money from students.
“She is to hand over the school administration to the Regional Director of Education pending final determination of the case by the Regional Disciplinary Committee.”
