The 2023 Ghana Football Association (GFA) elections still remain suspended after an Accra High Court adjourned the case between Division One side King Faisal and the GFA on Wednesday, August 30.
King Faisal filed a motion against the elections on Monday, August 21, pleading with the court to prevent the GFA from going ahead with the elections until elections for representatives from the National League Clubs, Regional Football Association, and other constituent bodies have been properly carried out.
Following this development, the GFA has, in a statement, informed all stakeholders that they have suspended the elections until the hearing of the motion on August 30.
However, the court proceedings, which were supposed to be today, did not go on as planned.
Due to this, legal representatives of both parties have agreed for the case to be decided on Wednesday, September 6.
