The new French Defence Attaché (DA) to Ghana – Colonel (Col) Gregoire Nadelin and the outgoing DA – Lieutenant Colonel (Lt Col) Gildas L’ttermitte paid a courtesy call on the Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS) of the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) Lieutenant General (Lt Gen) Thomas Oppong-Peprah.
The purpose of the visit at the General Headquarters, was to introduce Col Gregoire to the CDS, and to strengthen collaborations between both countries.
Lt Gen Oppong-Peprah congratulated both Officers and commended Lt Col L’ttermitte for his outstanding performance in facilitating smooth collaboration in areas such as training and intelligence sharing.
The CDS also wished Col Nadelin a successful tour of duty, and highlighted the need for increased collaboration, to address the growing threat of Jihadists’ attacks in the sub- region of West Africa.
