Energy Minister, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh has reiterated Ghana’s commitment to strategic investments into the country.
This according to Dr. Prempeh will support Ghana’s industrialisation drive for the progress and prosperity of Ghanaians. Dr. Prempeh said Ghana’s sound business climate ensures that investors are comfortable to doing business in our country.
Dr. Prempeh made these assertions when a delegation from Elsewedy Electric, global provider of energy, digital and infrastructure solutions met with him at the Ministry of Energy last week. The delegation was led by its group president and CEO , Mr.Ahmed Elsewedy.
Discussions centered on cooperation in Ghana’s energy sector Mr. Ahmed Elsewedy explained the company’s line of business which ranges from manufacturing of wires, cables, transformers, Meters and many other electrical products.
He said the company is also into Engineering and Construction of Energy and infrastructural turnkey project as well as digital and technology solutions.
He further indicated that the company is also very active infrastructural investments. He said the company has been in Ghana since 2006, working with ECG and GRIDCO and hopes to deepen the partnership with Ghana.
Dr. Prempeh asked them to ensure propriety on all fronts as the seek to widen their tentacles in Ghana
