Enhanced Security and Shared Responsibility
In his address, Director-General of the National Patrols Department, COP Mohammed Fuseini Suraji, emphasized the critical need for heightened vigilance during the holiday period and beyond.
“Security and vigilance must remain our watchwords as we navigate this festive season,” COP Suraji stated.
“Citizens must remain alert and provide timely information to the police to aid in crime prevention.
Security is not the sole responsibility of the police, it is a collective effort involving individuals, families, and communities.”
The Director-General expressed gratitude for the resilience and support demonstrated by both officers and the public throughout the year, encouraging reflection on peace, unity, and shared responsibility.
“As we close this chapter and look toward 2025 and 2026, I wish everyone peace, joy, love, good health, and success,” he said, while acknowledging the dedication of police officers for their service during the holidays.
Stern Warning to Criminals and Traffic Offenders
