The Ghana Prisons Service has held a 5-day workshop on Cyber Crime for officers from the Nsawam Medium Security Prison, Nsawam Female Prison and the Nsawam Camp Prison to equip officers with the requisite knowledge and skills to combat cyber crime.
The workshop which began on Monday,11th December, 2023 covered areas like Identifying Cyber Crime, Cyber Criminal techniques, Cyber Security best practices, Digital evidence gathering and preservation, Legal aspects of Cyber Crime, Collaboration and partnerships.
Present at the workshop were the Director of Prisons in charge of Services, Mrs.Patience Baffoe-Bonnie (Esq.) who opened the course, the Officer-In-Charge of the Nsawam Medium Security Prison, ADP. Patrick Seidu and other executives from the Economic and Organized Crime Office (EOCO).
