The Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) has announced that, it has exceeded its mid-year revenue target.
In a statement signed by the Chairman of the Board of Director of the revenue authority, Joe Ghartey, he commended the commissioner general, top management and staff for the “historic performance” despite the recent challenges in the economy.
“The chairman and board of directors of the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) wish to congratulate the commissioner-general, top management and staff on their outstanding performance, in exceeding the 2024 mid-year revenue target”, Joe Ghartey stated.
He further indicated that, Julie Essiam, the Commissioner-General of the authority will hold a media briefing next-week to throw more light on the achievement.
“The Commissioner-General, will be sharing more insights on these achievements next week at a media briefing and the Board calls on all valued stakeholders such as taxpayers, and the business community to provide GRA with the needed support to improve on revenue mobilization,” he added.
