The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration has announced that Ghana and Malawi have signed an agreement on a visa waiver regime for holders of ordinary, diplomatic, and service passports.
In a statement dated March 21, 2024, the ministry disclosed that the agreement process began on February 7, 2024, to boost the bilateral operations between the two countries.
“Travellers may transit through, depart from and stay in the territory of both countries for a cumulative period of up to ninety (90) days without recourse to work within a calendar year”, the ministry explained.
“The travelling public is hereby advised to take note of this new visa waiver agreement.”
