H. E. Ozlem Ergun Uluesen, Turkish Ambassador to Ghana has paid a courtesy call on Tourism Minister Dr. Ibrahim Mohammed Awal, at his office on Tuesday, March 23, 2021.

The Turkish Ambassador specified that the Turkish government intends to collaborate with the Government of Ghana through the Tourism Ministry to explore tourism related opportunities for socio cultural and economic benefits of both countries.

She indicated that Ghana has an immense opportunity in the area of Tourism Arts and Culture that necessitated her maiden engagement with the Ghana’s Tourism Minister, to explore opportunities in the sector.

H. E. Uluesen used the juncture to commend Dr. Ibrahim Mohammed Awal, for the warm courtesy extended to her and her delegation and further wished him well in his new portfolio as the sector Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture of Ghana.

On his part, the Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Dr. Ibrahim Mohammed Awal, expressed his commitment and that of His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo’s administration to work in partnership with the Turkish government to explore areas of mutual benefit in the Tourism and Culture landscape in Ghana for the well-meaning of the two countries.

The Turkish Ambassador to Ghana, Her Excellency Ozlem Ergun Uluesen was accompanied by her Executive Secretary, Mrs. Seyda Nur Ergun.
