Samuel Abu Jinapor, Lands and Natural Resources Minister on Monday, 23rd January 2023 chaired a management meeting at the Ministry of Trade and Industry, where he served as the caretaker Minister.

The Meeting, which was also attended by heads of agencies under the Ministry, was to discuss ways of working together to deliver on the mandate of the Ministry.

Still, at the Ministry of Trade and Industry, the minister received a delegation from the British High Commission, led by the High Commissioner, H.E Harriet Thompson, to discuss trade relations between the two countries.

The United Kingdom remains one of our major trade partners.

Through initiatives such as the Jobs and Economic Transformation (JET) Programme, we will continue to work with the UK to promote trade and investment between our two countries.

“The Government of President Akufo-Addo remains focused on bringing the much-needed development to our country, and we will continue to support his vision to build Ghana we want” Mr. Jinapor stated.
