The Ghana wheelchair tennis team has been reportedly attacked by armed robbers in Ogun State, Nigeria.
In a Tweet by the National Paralympic Committee on Tuesday, February 14, 2023, the incident occurred at around 2:30 am on Tuesday, leaving three players seriously injured.
The unfortunate incident happened while the team was returning to Ghana after the qualifiers.

The Ghana Wheelchair Tennis National Team left the country early February this year, to Abuja in Nigeria to participate in the International Tennis Federation (ITF) World Team Cup Africa Qualifiers which began on February 8, 2023, and ended on February 11, 2023.
