Ghanaians prefer younger candidate to be President in 2028 – Mussa Dankwah

Executive Director of the Global InfoAnalytics Mussa Dankwah, has said that Ghanaians prefer a younger person to be president going into the 2028 general elections.

He says that 64 per cent of the people surveyed in his recent polls say they want a young person who will reflect their youthful exuberance.

“The respondents want somebody who is young,” he said on the Key Points on TV3 Saturday, September 27.

“They are looking at recent past, Nana Akufo-Ado was 73 when he became president, but the people want someone who reflects their youthful exuberance,” he added.

Asked what age bracket constitutes young leaders, he said, “I didn’t define what age bracket they mean by young. I will go back to the public and ask them what they mean by young.”

“The preferences are going towards the younger leaders,” he stressed.
