The Ghana Football Association (GFA) have revealed that the Ghanaman Centre of Excellence will undergo significant renovations following the resolution of legal paperwork.
Early this month, the GFA declared that they had acquired 65.20 acres of the Prampram lands, where the GFA Technical Center and Ghana Soccer Centre of Excellence (GSCE) are located.
According to the GFA, the said project if completed will have facilities that will be able to host international games of all our national teams except the Black Stars.
“When completed, the GFA Technical Centre will boast of natural grass turfs, a mini stadium covering an area of 6,825 square metres with a sitting capacity of 6,000 spectators and two changing rooms capable of hosting international matches of all the national teams except the Black Stars.”
It also indicated that Technical Centre will have an administration block and a hotel to also camp the national teams.
“The GFA Technical Centre will also have an administration block, 12 unit classroom block with fitted modern facilities.
“Ghanaman will have a 3-star hotel/hostel facility with 58 guestrooms, a gym, sauna, two conference rooms with (250-300-sitting capacities respectively), a medical sports facility, swimming pool, convenient shops, trophy room, 8 workrooms for coaches, VIP lounges and other.”
The Association has however promised to channel all its resources including the monies they receive from FIFA to ensure the project is completed.
