Ghana’s latest case count also sees 193 new infections recorded while seven persons have unfortunately succumbed to the disease between March 12 and 13.
The case count on the coronavirus disease has seen nearly 88,421 cumulative cases recorded since the outbreak of the disease last year.
The deaths have now reached 705 from 698 from the last count.
In all, 84,095 patients have beaten the disease, having recovered from it and discharged accordingly.
This leaves only 3,621 persons with the disease.
So far, a section of the population has been vaccinated against the disease after the country took delivery of over 600,000 vaccine shots from India’s Serum Institute through the COVAX initiative.
