The Ghana Health Service (GHS) has reported 18 new cases of Mpox, raising the country’s total confirmed infections to 346.

No new deaths have been recorded, with the death toll remaining at one. The Service also noted that there are currently no patients admitted to hospital with the disease.

In its previous update on August 7, 2025, the GHS urged the public to remain alert, avoid close contact with individuals displaying symptoms, and promptly report suspected cases to the nearest health facility.

The Service said it is working with regional health directorates to trace contacts and coordinate a nationwide response to contain the spread.
