GIDA gets new CEO

The Board of Directors of the Ghana Irrigation Development Authority (GIDA) has appointed Ing. Richard Oppong-Boateng as acting Chief Executive Officer of the Authority.

The Board of Directors of the Ghana Irrigation Development Authority (GIDA) has appointed Ing. Richard Oppong-Boateng as acting Chief Executive Officer of the Authority.

Ing. Oppong-Boateng’s appointment as Acting CEO of GIDA was announced in a press release issued by the Ministry of Food and Agriculture.

Until his appointment, Ing. Oppong-Boateng held the position of Director (Chief Manager) of the Irrigation Technology and Innovation Department of the Authority.

According to the release, his latest appointment takes effect from January 1, 2023.
