The Eastern Regional Hospital, in collaboration with the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS), organized a two-day fire safety education program for staff, management, and student interns.

Led by ADO I Samuel Nunoo, the training covered key topics including fire prevention, hazard identification, safe LPG and electrical appliance use, and fire extinguishers operation. Participants were also briefed on flood safety and common misconceptions about GNFS operations.

They were encouraged to promote fire safety practices at work, home, and in their communities to help reduce fire and related emergency incidents.
