The Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection is working to address homelessness in Accra.
On July 15th, officials visited certain areas to talk to people living on the streets, including children, parents, and young women.
The goal was to understand their experiences firsthand: why they are homeless, what challenges they face, and how the government can help.
This information will be used to create a plan for long-term solutions.
The government is committed to protecting children and ensuring everyone has a safe place to live.
