The Ministry of Interior has declared Thursday, April 11, 2024, as a statutory holiday to commemorate the Eid ul Fitr celebration.
Eid ul Fitr is an Islamic festival which marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
According to the ministry in a press statement signed by Henry Quartey, the sector minister indicated that” The general public is hereby informed that 𝐓𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝟏𝟏𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒 which marks 𝐄𝐢𝐝𝐮𝐥-𝐅𝐢𝐭𝐫, is a statutory public holiday and should be observed as such throughout the country.”
