Kotoko and King Faisal battled to a draw at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Wednesday night, in a Kumasi derby.
King Faisal started the game well and could have taken the lead but were wasteful in attack, as their opportunity to get the first goal through a counter-break was not well utilized.
Kotoko’s goalkeeper, Frederick Asare had to produce two crucial saves to prevent King Faisal from getting their first goal in the first half.
The Porcupine Warriors had a good chance to score in the 62nd minute of the game, Matheus De Souza blasted a shot wide off the post.
King Faisal were reduced to ten men after Abdul received a second booking, but Kotoko could not take advantage to get a goal.
The results mean Kotoko remain 5th in the league table, with 39 points, while King Faisal is 10th with 32 points.
